Speeches
A Calendar of Remarks
Sample copy. A calendar desk lists speeches that are actually scheduled. This list is not a calendar.
This item reserves a place for a calendar story. It does not list speakers, cities, or days.
When the desk runs, each line will come from a published schedule, and a change in that schedule will be noted as a change, not rewritten from memory.
No one is said to have spoken. No theme is assigned to a talk that has not been given.
The paragraph can be long enough to test the measure of the column. Its facts are still none.
